On November 2, 2017, His Royal Highness (HRH) Prince Charles honoured John Sudheer Pudhota with an award for "Commonwealth Excellence". A letter, presented to John during a one hour private meeting with HRH Prince Charles himself, read:
"...The awards demonstrate to leaders and other policy makers the importance of Commonwealth people’s especially the young in playing an important role in national development. The awards also serve to inspire other Commonwealth citizen people to take action in their communities.
Therefore, the Commonwealth Youth Council would like to formally recognise your for the category of Commonwealth Excellence in recognition to your organisation contribution towards the Commonwealth nations..."
John's remarkable work has garnered him a tremendous amount of international attention and recognition from organizations such as the United Nations and the Asia Pacific CSR Council. The purpose of the council is to advance the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. On August 24, 2017, John attended an event hosted by this Council honouring him as one of the "100 Most Influential Sustainable Entrepreneur".
